As a Certified Pinnacle Business Guide and founder of Eskaygee, I work with founder-led companies in Chicago, the Twin Cities, and Wisconsin who are ready to grow with intention — building a business with stronger profits, confident leaders, and increasing enterprise value.

My approach is built around one simple idea: lasting change comes from sharper focus and better decisions. I guide leadership teams through the five Pinnacle Principles — People, Purpose, Playbooks, Performance, and Profit — to build Clarity from the top down and Execution from the bottom up. The destination is what I call Profitable Prosperity: more revenue, stronger margins, and a business that runs without the owner at the center of every decision.

My background includes 10+ years in buyside M&A advisory and executive leadership roles across investment and finance, commercial construction, IT managed services, and banking — industries where I implemented operating systems, drove accountability, and built high-trust cultures under real pressure. I’ve sat on your side of the table. I know what it takes to lead a team, make hard decisions, and navigate the challenges that come with growth.

Outside of work, my wife Amy introduced me to rowing — I’ve since logged nearly seven million meters on the water and the Concept2 erg. I grew up in St. Paul, attended the University of Minnesota, and have called the Chicago area home since 1996. The name Eskaygee sounds out the initials of my three daughters — Sadie, Katherine, and Gracie. The business may be mine, but the name is a daily reminder of who I’m really doing this for.
