I work with leadership teams that have a compelling vision and capable people but need more clarity about how to turn that vision into coordinated execution. Many have built strong businesses through people power – commitment, experience, and individual know-how – and are now ready to complement it with the process power that makes good work more repeatable and less dependent on individual effort.

I believe structure creates clarity, and clarity is liberating. My clients hire me to work alongside them to build and use enough structure to create clarity and to execute well. That structure may include focused strategy and planning cycles, purposeful meeting rhythms, role clarity, decision discipline, core processes, and better ways of managing the information the business depends on. I pursue clarity by challenging assumptions, asking the questions teams may be avoiding, and connecting leaders’ day-to-day work to the purpose and destination they have chosen.

My perspective is shaped by 12 years as a military officer in command and staff roles, founder experience building several ranch businesses, an MBA from the University of Guelph, and five years of management consulting, coaching, and facilitation work. Together, these experiences reinforced my belief that clear intent, practical structure, and shared ownership allow capable people to execute well.

As a Pinnacle Business Guide, I work alongside leadership teams as they apply practical tools across People, Purpose, Playbooks, Performance, and Profit. I read the terrain with them, bring blind spots into view, support sound decisions as conditions change, and know when to pull out the map.

Outside of work, I enjoy life on the family ranch with my wife and our three kids, whether that means chasing runaway cattle, keeping up with the kids on the ski hill, or casting a line in the nearest creek.
