Rick Appleby

After enjoying a highly successful leadership career of over 30 years in Manufacturing and Operations, in July of 2012, I attempted retirement, and failing at that, decided to become a Certified Business Coach/EOS Implementer. Over my career I have held numerous C-Level positions with global responsibilities at Fortune 100/500 companies, including Compaq/HP and Foxconn/Hon Hai Industries. This background provides me with the broad and extensive experience that is well-suited for what I love to do, which is working with and developing leadership teams from a wide range of industries. My clients include companies in Manufacturing, IT Services, Construction, Education, Medical Services and Healthcare, Digital Media, Trucking, Software Development, and many other areas.

On October 1st, 2019, I launched Strategic Planning Solutions, and in May of 2021, I was honored to become a Certified PINNACLE Business Guide, dramatically expanding the tools and capabilities that I am able to provide for my clients, while also providing me with access to a community of some of the brightest and most successful business coaches and guides in the industry.

As for my personal life, I am happily married to my wife Dianne, and between us we have 8 children (including 6 GIRLS!) and 12 grandchildren. I was originally born in Kentucky, am an avid Wildcats fan, and spent nearly 20 years in the Houston area before moving to Wisconsin in 2008. In my spare time, I enjoy sporting events, golf, sports cars, cooking, boating, and traveling with my wife and family.
