Jeffrey Baumert is the founder of C4 Summit Leadership, a firm built around the core principles of courage, commitment, competitiveness, and caring. He is also a Pinnacle Business Guide with a career defined by disciplined execution, decisive leadership, and a passion for engaging and developing high-performing teams. Before becoming a Pinnacle Guide, Jeff held a senior executive role at a large national financial services firm, where he oversaw the integration of more than 20 acquisitions and led advisors, client service, operations, retirement plan services, process improvement, and tax and insurance services. His ability to remain adaptable while leading complex organizational change became a hallmark of his leadership.
Prior to that executive role, Jeff served as President of a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) after successfully leading the sale and integration of a $500 million AUM RIA into a larger $2.8 billion AUM firm—both of which primarily served the airline industry. As Principal and COO, he helped build the smaller firm from its early stages and engineered the strategic partnership that ultimately aligned it with the larger organization. His commitment to disciplined growth and long-range planning played a key role in creating a smooth and value-enhancing transition.
Jeff’s leadership foundation was forged long before his corporate career. He is a retired Marine Corps Colonel with more than 25 years of service, including command of a Marine Fighter Squadron in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His military experience—and his work as a pilot with Delta Air Lines—shaped his decisiveness, adaptability, and deep commitment to mission-focused teamwork.
Across his diverse experiences—from combat operations to corporate integrations—Jeff has developed a lasting passion for working with and leading teams of leaders. Widely traveled, Jeff has visited more than 30 countries. He has been married for over 35 years and is the proud father of three daughters and grandfather to three grandchildren. Outside of work, he enjoys physical fitness, reading, hunting, fishing, and hiking.
