Pinnacle Business Guide and North Carolina native Trey Bolton has enjoyed a remarkable career across several roles and industries with companies that range from small start-ups to multinational organizations. Trey graduated from Elon University and enjoyed being actively involved in campus life. He served as President of the Student Body his Senior year at Elon and was widely recognized for his leadership and problem-solving skills. Upon graduation, Trey worked in banking and gained valuable experience in management development, and learned a great deal about the intricacies of the banking and finance sectors. He then completed his MBA at the University of Notre Dame, where he excelled academically, cherished the vibrant campus, and completed the rigorous program in just one year.
Trey’s path took an exciting turn when he joined ESPN at its home office in Connecticut. He was quickly promoted throughout the organization and worked in different roles alongside visionary leaders in the media business. He was recognized for his knack at identifying and creating strategic initiatives and growth opportunities, and his career quickly moved forward. Trey certainly missed his native North Carolina and soon discovered an attractive offer that brought him home.
Trey accepted an offer and joined a community bank back home in 2013. His strategic vision and leadership skills proved pivotal. While at the bank, he took part in initiatives focused on new markets and business lines and attractive growth opportunities. He was involved in the bank’s expansion from $3.5 billion when he joined to an impressive $12 billion regional bank. He has the ability to wear multiple hats and drive to achieve financial objectives.
Trey is a passionate entrepreneur. He and his wife, Meredith, currently own and operate two businesses. These ventures reflect his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to business growth.
Family is the Pinnacle of Trey’s life. They love traveling and have explored many historic and relaxing locations, both foreign and domestic. The beaches and mountains of North Carolina remain favorite destinations for Trey and his wife and their three children. Trey is deeply involved in his church and local community.
