Colin is an entrepreneur, investor, and business leader with a passion for inspiring vision and bringing clarity. He founded and led CopperTree Solutions, an IT service management company, where he experienced firsthand how a well-implemented operating system can transform an organization from reactive chaos to calm, focused, high-confidence execution. Under Colin’s leadership, CopperTree grew at an average of 35% annually for a decade and became one of the leading Managed IT Service Providers in the Waterloo Region.
Following CopperTree’s acquisition, Colin began working alongside growth-minded leaders to help them achieve the same clarity, alignment, and control his own team gained by implementing a business operating system. He partners with leadership teams to rebuild culture, strengthen accountability, and install the structures, systems, and leadership rhythms that drive consistent execution and predictable performance.
Colin believes business is fundamentally about people. He has been active in multiple CEO and peer advisory groups, both industry specific and cross-sector, and is a long-time participant in Strategic Coach. He values the power of shared experience, continued learning, and steady leadership as essential ingredients of organizational health and long-term success.
Colin lives just outside Waterloo, Ontario with his wife Lisa and their five children. He is actively involved in his church community and several nonprofit organizations.
