Chris has 35+ years of leadership experience across a range of industries, including retail, consulting, ecommerce, logistics, manufacturing, software development, and banking. Before becoming a Pinnacle Business Guide, Chris was the Corporate President and COO of a $3-billion community bank. Along with founding multiple firms, he’s held leadership and board positions in start-ups, family-owned businesses, partnerships, and a public multinational where he led software development teams across five countries. Chris also has deep experience in mergers and acquisitions by integrating systems, processes, and bringing cultures together.
Chris has a passion for strategy, technology, and scaling companies for substantial growth. By using technology as a force multiplier, he led multiple digital transformations that accelerated growth and drove profitability. By focusing on People, Process, and Technology (in that order), Chris knows that healthy teams are the true competitive advantage. He is known for building high-performance teams through clarity, trust, and developing talent.
Chris has a love for learning, including a BA in History, an MS in Information Assurance (Cybersecurity), and an MBA. He has a Certificate in Leadership from Wharton and graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Penn where he continues to be a Captone Advisor. He maintains the CISSP and CISM (two elite cybersecurity certifications), along with being a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner. Chris has 20+ years of international training experience, providing technical and managerial education at businesses, consulting firms, and universities.
Chris completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and is an HBS alumni. He is currently working on his doctorate at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. As a practitioner-scholar, Chris has the unique ability to turn academic insights into practical approaches for business growth.
