Since 2005, I’ve had the honor of being an owner & CEO of KegWorks. I am accountable for setting the vision, developing the strategy and the execution of this strategy. I have an amazing Leadership Team that I work with to do this. KegWorks has been named as one of the fastest growing companies in Western New York several times and one of the Best Places to Work.

There have been challenging times too. We have made a lot of mistakes. If I am being candid, a couple times I wasn’t sure we were going to make it. But we learned. We learned how to make hard decisions and be disciplined and focus on what’s important. When the pandemic hit, we not only survived; we thrived. Our seasoned leadership team had been faced with greater challenges before…without a government backstop.

During the pandemic, I started helping other entrepreneurs deal with the challenges inside and outside their organizations. The business disruptions caused by the pandemic created unique challenges never seen before. It also exposed weaknesses in their organizations. My work with these companies led me to found Strategy Distilled.

I now help entrepreneurs clarify, simplify, and achieve their vision. I work with Leadership Teams to establish simple but highly effective operational plans tailored to their unique needs. These plans establish organizational discipline and accountability designed take the vision of the entrepreneur and make it real.

What I’ve experienced is not unique. Running a business is really hard. I have the scars to show for it. It is no secret that running a strong business requires scalable organizational systems run by leadership teams that work together with trust, transparency, and accountability.
