Mike Taylor

I was born and raised on the plains of the Texas Panhandle. I moved to California to go to university. I started a small interior construction business to pay my way through school. I was asked to lunch one day by a local Architect I met in Los Angeles. The Architect brought a guest that I had never met. It was a strange lunch as I had no idea why this guest was with us. At the end of lunch, the guest said he had to leave and stood up and shook my hand, and told me congratulations. I was puzzled and asked, congratulation for what? He said, Mike, I am going to hire your company to install all the furniture for the new Toyota North American HQ. I did not know it, but I was being interviewed. I never finished my degree as my company grew over the next few years to over 200 employees and revenues of $50M.

Two years ago, I thought about retirement but wanted to take my experience in the business world and help small to medium-size business reach their Pinnacle as I reached mine after my “lunch that launched a career”.

Now a Pinnacle Business Guide, I can take my experience and the Pinnacle Business Growth process to help other business owners to reach their Pinnacle.

When I am not helping others reach their Pinnacle, I love to spend time with my wife, Nancy, of 42 years, and my three sons and their families. I am an avid outdoorsman and love to spend time fly fishing with friends. I am currently a volunteer for the Wyakin Foundation in Boise, Idaho, mentoring our warriors as they transition from military life back into civilian life.
